Last Day Term 1 and Off-Campus Learning

Heritage College has quickly adapted working arrangements across all campus locations to support the wellbeing of students, families and staff during this prolonged public health situation.  Our contingency plans for off-campus learning, combined with a commitment to flexible working for staff, means that Heritage College is well-placed to continue to operate through these unprecedented events.

Last Day of School Monday 23 March 2020

As of Tuesday, 24 March 2020, school holidays will officially commence at Heritage College. Today, we endeavour to ensure that your child/ren collects any learning materials and resources they may need to continue their learning off-campus.

Off-Campus Learning (Prep – Year 10)

During the holiday period, your child/ren will not be required to complete the formal off-campus learning programmes (for example, the ‘Prep to Year 3 Learning packs’ and ‘Year 4 to Year 10 Google classroom programmes’).  This formal learning program will re-commence on Wednesday, 15 April 2020. In the case that school does not resume as expected, we will notify parents when to commence using off-campus learning packs. Please continue to check SEQTA Engage for further updates.

Off-Campus Learning for VCE Students
To ensure that VCE students are not adversely disadvantaged by the additional days of school holidays, online learning for VCE classes are offered this week (Tuesday, 24th March through Thursday, 26th March). To facilitate this commitment, teaching staff will communicate with VCE classes via Google Classroom about classwork that is to be completed and how students can use this time to their advantage to get ahead academically.

Stay connected with Heritage College over the holiday period via the official Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest news and updates.
