Congratulations Class of 2021

 19 October 2021

As the academic year comes to a close, Heritage College acknowledges the efforts of the graduating Class of 2021 this year.

The Year 12 Class attended their final day of school on Tuesday 19 October, and are due to complete their exams by Week 6 of Term 4.

This year’s students set their sights on a variety of future careers including animal keeping, business, medicine, justice, game design, trades apprenticeships and flight school.

Head of Secondary Mr Darren Martin congratulated students on the successful completion of their classes and the determination they have shown throughout a challenging year.

Mr Martin said the secondary staff are proud of the achievements of the Class of 2021 as they conclude their formal studies at the secondary level and wished them well for the upcoming VCE examinations.

“While every generation of graduating students face unique challenges that set them apart and shape their lives for the future, this year’s cohort has experienced unique challenges in their senior years of schooling,” he says.

Senior Secondary Coordinator Miss Elyse Taylor says that the benefits of a small, tight-knit cohort meant students could rely on one another for support despite the difficulties faced during lockdowns.

“Students have faced difficulties this year which we have seen developed resilience, initiative and motivation,” she says.

“Despite the unpredictable conditions of this year, our students have demonstrated a confidence to plan their career options and forge a pathway for themselves into tertiary or vocational studies,” she said.

Year 12 students will anticipate receiving their ATAR Scores from 7:00 am Thursday 16 December 2021 which will allow them to adjust their universities of choice and preferences.
