Administration Building Refurbishment – Officer campus

22 November 2021

Last year, Heritage College welcomed the addition of two new infrastructure projects that will allow for substantial future growth and expansion. During November and December, some further works are due to be carried out to the Administration building at Officer campus.

These works will commence Monday 22 November 2021 and be completed by 22 December 2021. While we will aim to keep disruption to a minimum, there will be some interruptions to access, and thank you for your patience during this time.

Improvement works will include:

  • A dedicated School Reception space.
  • A dedicated Early Learning Reception with a separate secure entrance for Early Learning families for drop off and collection times.
  • A new Sick Bay area for students requiring temporary support.
  • A redesigned floorplan to maximise the space in the current building.

Plans were prepared by Kneeler Design Architects and comply with regulatory requirements for Early Learning and Occupational Health and Safety.

Originally constructed in 2015, the Administration building housed the first Primary classes until 2015, when applications were lodged to operate an Early Learning Centre from the location. A year later, the premier class of 3 and 4 Year Old Early Learners commenced. Now accommodating a considerable amount of foot traffic with students, staff, Early Learning families and guests to campus, the building will undergo interior upgrades to improve the facilities.

As outlined in the Heritage College Strategic Plan 2020-2025, improvements to college facilities are determined by a select committee to serve the growing community over the next five years. Our goal is to deliver an outstanding College experience for all students, staff, families and guests on campus. While the Master Plan at Officer campus is permanently installed on the wall of Reception, during this time we will also include the elevations of the proposed changes and make them available for viewing.

We welcome questions from the Early Learning and School community about the building works. You can contact for assistance.
