What is Registration Day?
Registration Day is held in ‘Week Zero’ prior to the first week of school in the new academic year. Registration Day aims to ensure the smoothest commencement to the first day of school possible. Read more information on returning to school, including First Day of School dates 2022.
What date is Registration Day?
Registration is held on Thursday 27 January 2022. Continuing and commencing Secondary families will be invited to attend at certain times by House allocation.
Who needs to attend?
This event is strongly recommended for students and parents in Years 7-12 commencing or continuing in 2022. Primary families are not required to attend.
What do I need to bring?
- Students in Years 7 to 9 are to bring their device to ensure network connectivity prior to the first day of school. The college will supply a lock for students to reserve their choice of locker.
- Senior School Students (Years 10 – 12) are to bring their laptop of choice and their lock to reserve their locker.
Why should we attend?
Parents can meet with teaching staff, be introduced to SEQTA Engage as the college communications platform, meet with uniform coordinators and ask questions about uniform.
Students can select their locker placement if they are in attendance, meet other new students in their House group, set up network access ready for first day of school, and navigate campus locations and facilities, including Homerooms.
Can I just arrive at any time?
Families will receive an email in their inbox with an invitation to attend based on their house allocation.
