Heritage College Narre Warren South is strategically positioned in the City of Casey, one of the fastest growing metropolitan regions in Victoria. Our Narre Warren South Campus caters to students from Foundation to Year 6.
Previously the site of the Hallam Valley Primary School, our Narre Warren South Campus officially opened in Term 4 of 1999. The school consisted of four classrooms, and a library/ multi-purpose in the current administration building. Over the next decade additional learning areas were added, buildings refurbished, and the Multi-Purpose Centre with a new library and music room was built in 2012. In the mid-2000s, the campus included Year 7 & 8, before land was purchased out at Officer for a new campus to accommodate the increased demand for student places.
Our Narre Warren South Campus has excellent facilities to deliver a balanced curriculum. The campus has 14 classrooms, Library, IT facilities, Science Labs, Home Economics, Technology, Music and Art centres. The Multipurpose Centre allows for all weather use of PE facilities and is a great venue for Performing Arts. Students enjoy the 2 separate playgrounds, sand pit, a large sheltered courtyard, a soccer field, an oval, tennis and basketball court.
The indoor and outdoor environments at Heritage College are designed to enhance our students’ learning experiences. With kitchen gardens being established across both our campuses, a nature based learning approach being implemented throughout our lower primary, a multi purpose gymnasium, a technology shed and a classroom home economics kitchen, our programs allow for a varied and vast array of learning opportunities that are meaningful to them.
