For the past number of years, the Year 7 group have been attending the Forest Edge camp in Neerim South, set in the beautiful tranquil surrounds of a 120 acre forest site, surrounded by mountains and trees and the quiet Latrobe river. It truly is a beautiful spot, where we spend three days.
The facilities were upgraded in 2017 and now feature ensuite bathrooms, new beds, and central heating in each communal room for students. The camp is run by a Christian organisation and we are very well looked after. The activities vary from year to year and we are really spoilt for choice. Our Year 7 groups love the 300m flying fox, the high and low ropes, river sledding and bush walks – just a few of the exciting activities available. All of the instructors are highly trained in safety and every activity is supervised. Every year our students come away with great memories and friendships being built, as well as being challenged in several physical and spiritual ways.
