Year 7 students start the year with a three-day camp to Forest Edge at Neerim South.
Surrounded by 120-acre forest and mountains, Forest Edge is nestled on the banks of the nearby Latrobe River. It truly is a picturesque camping space.
Campsite cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, new beds and central heating in each communal room for students. A variety of camp activities are offered for students to take up personal challenges, such as the Flying Fox, high and low ropes, river sledding and hiking. Instructors are highly trained and each activity is supervised. During their time at Forest Edge, and despite the physical challenge they face, students develop friendships and memories that serve them well throughout the secondary school years.
