Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic OSHC Coordinator to join the team at Heritage College, Officer campus.

Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position (12 hours per week) with an immediate start, concluding at the end of the year. Working days are Monday and Wednesday, with a third day being flexible.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

• Lead the daily operations of the OSHC service.
• Develop and implement engaging, play-based educational programs.
• Mentor, support and lead OSHC educators.
• Maintain compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standard, Child Safe Standards and organisational policies.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, school staff and the wider community.
• Manage records, documentation and incident reporting.
• Coordinate staffing, rostering and professional learning.
• Lead continuous improvement through reflective practice and the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
• Prepare and maintain the service for Assessment and Rating.
• Promote a positive, collaborative and child-safe culture.
• Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Requirements:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an approved equivalent qualification).
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualifications (or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement).
