After a long absence from the college calendar, Heritage College hosted Open Night at Officer Campus on Thursday 31 March 2022.
Early Learning, Primary and Secondary classrooms were open for viewing and display, with teaching staff on hand to ask questions from families. Goodie bags were handed to guests, filled with plenty of reminders from their time on campus.
Prospective families were treated to the Primary band and choir performing items for the guests that gathered inside the music hall in the new Primary precinct.
Open Night at Officer campus will now run in Semester 1 to give local families looking for Year 7 entry an opportunity to explore the campus earlier in the year.
In the Library, graduates of Heritage College gathered to swap stories and reconnect, enjoying some light refreshments. Graduates shared about the diverse range of careers and study pathways they have embarked on, from Microbiology and Biomedical science to Criminology and Fashion Design. We look forward to welcoming some of our graduates back on campus later this year to connect their experiences with Senior Secondary students.
Families looking to continue into Year 7 2023 were able to speak with the Step into Secondary team regarding the Year 7 program and what to expect in junior Secondary school (Years 7-9).
The rock wall challenged the brave whilst the giant monkey jumping castle kept the little ones busy. Friends from Myuna Farm stopped by with their mobile animal farm to the delight of the children who attended.
College captains were on hand to assist, helping families find their way around the facilities and answering questions.
Narre Warren South campus will host Open Night in Semester 2, on Thursday 1 September 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
