Students from Years 7 - 12 travelled to the Pool in the Park Doveton for the recent Secondary Swimming Carnival 2020.
The day was filled with enthusiasm as students warmed up for their swimming heats. Students performed in 50m freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and age relay finals. Students also had the chance to perform for the House colour with the novelty events including the Sunken Treasure and Pool Noodle Relay.
The day concluded with students have some fun in the sun on the waterslide and play pool where they kept cool from the summer heat.
This was the closest swimming carnival ever making it exciting for competition. Landy came in at 4th, Court came 3rd, Elliot came 2nd and Jackson came 1st by a margin of only 1 point!
All students showed excellent sportsmanship through encouragement and participation. The college values of Excellence, Service, Resilience and Respect were exhibited by all and made for a positive experience throughout the whole day.
