Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a passionate and skilled teacher for a full-time role, commencing immediately and continuing for the rest of 2025, focused on student support across both primary and secondary levels at both Heritage College campuses.

This position includes:

  • 0.6 FTE Academic Intervention – Providing targeted literacy and numeracy support for students who require additional assistance.
  • 0.4 FTE Mental Health & Wellbeing Support (Primary) – Working as part of our established wellbeing team to facilitate and support mental health initiatives within the primary school.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

  • Support whole-school wellbeing and resilience through proactive, evidence-based strategies aligned with PB4L Tier 1 practices.
  • Deliver targeted small-group and individual interventions for emerging mental health and behavioural needs in line with PB4L Tier 2 supports.
  • Plan, deliver and assess an intervention program which extends students’ engagement and achievement, and accurately report on achievements.
  • Provide targeted small-group and individual interventions to support students requiring additional assistance in literacy and numeracy across Primary and Secondary.
  • Support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelor of Education
  • VIT Registered Teacher
  • Willingness to work across both Heritage College campuses

  • Position is subject to maintaining registration with VIT

Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.

The salary range is $83-124k based on years of experience.
