Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a Chief Examination Supervisor and several Exam Supervisors to join the team at Heritage College, Officer in a casual capacity.

The Chief Exam Supervisor has overall responsibility for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments. Exam Supervisors are responsible for conducting and administering VCE external assessments.

Key Responsibilities for all Exam Supervisors include:

  • Familiarising themselves with the procedures for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments
  • Familiarising themselves with the specific emergency procedures in place during VCE external assessments
  • Ensuring they have a clear understanding of the provisions for any student with approved Special Examination Arrangements
  • Maintaining, within the school’s established guidelines, proper order, and discipline among students
  • Follow child safety and OH&S requirements

Additional Responsibilities for Chief Exam Supervisor include:

  • Reconciling and safekeeping of all external assessment materials within 48 hours of delivery, ensuring they are stored appropriately
  • Ensuring all supervisors are briefed on the procedures and are capable of carrying out the responsibilities as required

  • A reliable and organised professional with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures and work collaboratively with school staff
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check

Screening Requirements:

  • Reference checks will be undertaken including referencing your ability to work safely with children
  • Position is subject to maintaining registration with VIT
