Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a Deputy Head of Secondary for Heritage College (Officer Campus). This is a full-time, fixed term position commencing January 2026 and concluding December 2026.

The Deputy Head of Secondary will support the Head of Secondary in leading significant areas and/or functions within the school to ensure the effective development, provision and evaluation of the school’s Secondary education program.

Applicants will need to hold, at a minimum, a Bachelor of Education with a Master of Education preferred and have 5+ years of experience as a teacher. Applicants with demonstrated skills in leadership will have an advantage.

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they:

  • Are a practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the Adventist Education system.
  • Possess strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Have a solid understanding of various learning and teaching strategies, understandings and skills in the area of Secondary education.
  • Can foster and develop appropriate relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider church and school communities.
  • Are willing to support the vision, mission and strategic goals of the school.
