Salary - As per Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Limited Enterprise Agreement 2019-2022

Heritage College is seeking an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join the supportive secondary team. This is a fixed-term, part-time (0.60 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025 and concludes at the end of the 2025 school year

Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

  • Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
  • Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
  • Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
  • Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
  • Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
  • Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelor of Education
  • VIT Registered Teacher
