Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic VCE/VM/VET and Careers Coordinator to join the secondary team at Heritage College, Officer. This is a part-time, permanent position (FTE 0.60) that commences Term 1, 2026.

The focus of the VCE/VM/VET and Careers Coordinator is on the administration of the VCE/VM/VET programs of the College. This includes supporting students in their transition into suitable curriculum pathways and overseeing the administrative elements of the VCE/VM/VET program, such as monitoring annual processes and overseeing external examinations. The focus of the Careers Coordinator aspect of this role is primarily on supporting students and families with careers and course advice.

Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

  • Have a detailed knowledge of VCE/VM/VET requirements
  • Are able to manage and oversee all annual and ad hoc processes for students throughout their VCE journey
  • Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve the VCE experience within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
  • Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Show strong coordination skills and are able to work with a diverse range of students, staff and teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education
  • VIT Registered Teacher

The salary range is $83-124k based on years of experience.
