History

Due to the size of the Narre Warren South Campus and an increased demand for student places, an additional 22 hectares of land was purchased at Officer in 2005 for the construction of a new campus. The first phase in the relocating of the secondary students onto the site occurred in 2009 when the Years 10-12 students commenced classes at Officer. In 2010 the Year 9 students relocated to Officer.

Facilities

In addition to general purpose learning spaces, the College offers specialist arts, science and technology facilities, sports grounds, safe parking options, a Bus and Coach Service, and before and after school care.

The Multi-Purpose Centre (MPC) at Officer campus was officially opened in August 2019. The MPC includes a full-sized basketball court, volleyball courts, sports floor, changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities and is the hub for college events, including Awards and Presentation night each year. Phase two will add learning facilities along with a new administration area.

Library

The library is an integral part of the College’s academic program. It acts as a resource centre for learning and recreational reading. Whole classes use the library during class time. It is also open at lunch times on certain days to encourage students to borrow books or quietly read in the library.
