Student wellbeing

At Heritage College, we believe that all children have the right to attend school in a safe and caring environment where their spiritual, mental, physical and emotional wellbeing is a priority.

The Heritage College Wellbeing Team stem into two categories: Chaplaincy and Student Wellbeing.

The Student Wellbeing Team provides youth support and pastoral care services (not counselling, however, referrals are made to counselling services).

Providing support

  • The Wellbeing Team provides one-on-one pastoral support to students, providing emotional support and social and educational values;
  • Works with leadership, teachers and other relevant staff through student care plans;
  • Delivers services that respect the range of spiritual views and cultural traditions in the school community, and also respect the stated views of parents/guardians to ensure the spiritual and moral education of their children.

This is a free service for all Heritage College students.

If you would like to make an appointment to see the Wellbeing Team, please contact Reception.
