With a healthy dose of food, families and fun, Heritage College hosted the annual Open Night at Narre Warren South campus on Thursday 5 March.

Sheltered undercover in the Multi-Purpose Centre, the Registration team greeted prospective families to campus, while the student band and choir played on stage. In the foyer, healthy treats were handed as tasters to guests to sample the fare on offer by the college canteen. The Senior Years team joined in for the evening, discussing all things secondary with many interested primary parents.

Despite the storm clouds gathering outside, the rain managed to hold off for the evening. Food Trucks served up plenty of hot drinks, iced coffees and Potato Twists. The rock wall challenged the brave whilst the giant monkey jumping castle kept the little ones busy. Face Painters were kept busy painting little faces to the delight of parents nearby.

Classrooms in the primary school were open for viewing and display, with teaching staff on hand to ask questions from families. Goodie bags were handed to visitors, filled with plenty of reminders from their time on campus, including a 2019 yearbook, sticker, pen and notepad.

School captains were on hand to assist, helping families find their way around the facilities and answer any questions.

With the release of the proposed Early Learning Centre at Narre Warren South campus, families were able to view master plans and speak with Kindergarten teachers from Officer campus.
