On Thursday 28 January 2021, our newest students commenced in the Prep classroom at Officer campus.

After some initial nerves, Prep students settled into their classrooms, thanks to a warm welcome from the teaching staff. Early Learning Centre teacher Ms Vanessa Rahiman was also on hand to ensure all ran smoothly for the new Prep students as they adjusted from their kinder environment to their classroom space.

Prep Teacher Bronwyn van Dyk said the Prep students were excited to have photos taken with their families to create a lasting memory of the day. They enjoyed investigating the classroom and play areas.

Mrs van Dyk said the class read ‘Where is the Green Sheep?’ and then went on a tour of the college grounds, looking for the lost Green Sheep.

"The Preps found him hiding in the Front Office!”, she said.

Mrs van Dyk said students settled into the school routine, and the teaching staff look forward to seeing them grow this year.
